Welcome, Friends, to Maple Hill Farms!
We are a group of like-minded non-profit equine welfare and protection organizations dedicated to helping horses and their owners.
We provide rescue, shelter, rehabilitation, and sanctuary for equines.  We also provide assistance and education for horse owners and prospective owners. 
Each entity is overseen by a Board of Directors, assisted by qualified advisors. Projects and missions are facilitated by dedicated volunteers.
The Sanctuary at Maple Hill Farms, Inc.,  464 Maple Hill Road, Auburn, ME 04210, EIN 47-3302533, is a Maine non-profit corporation, tax exempt under IRC
501(c)(3).
The Sanctuary tends to the care and well being of homeless horses and horses in respite care at several barn and farm facilities, foster homes, and quarantine
locations. Among its community based programs are those for youth/ equine development, returning riders, and owner education.
Our  affiliated Maine licensed equine shelter is First Light Farm Equine Shelter, Inc., 1054B North River Road, Auburn, ME 04210, EIN 27-1052480,  is a Maine non-profit corporation, tax exempt under IRC 501(c)(3).  First Light operates independently, but we collaborate on compatible projects and First Light
shares Maple Hill's Brickwell Stable location.
